We are Kelly and Florence. We first met, many years ago, during a meeting for a service trip to Pine Ridge, the most impoverished Indian Reservation of the country. We met again as volunteers at our local volunteer ambulance corps, this time to help others in emergency medical situations. We discovered that we had quite some things in common; a desire to help others, a deep interest in health-related subjects, and a passion for whole food plant-based nutrition. We had both obtained a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the e-Cornell at the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, and we both also took the Forks Over Knives whole food plant-based cooking course, where we learned to cook without any added oils! From that time on, we teamed up even more. We attended medical conferences, lectures, and plant-based nutrition events, and in the meantime, we both consulted people on the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. We discovered that many people want to eat fewer animal products, but dietary habits and confusion is keeping many from making sustainable changes. That was for us the reason to create Plant Yourself Healthy, a comprehensive whole food plant-based lifestyle coaching program. We enable, guide and support you to change your eating habits to prevent, stop or reverse chronic disease. We are very excited to be your partner on this life-changing journey.
